This is my 2nd time visiting this office and both have been met with high expectations and anxiety because I dislike anything that has to do with anyone touching my teeth and I’m slow if not impossible to trust when it comes to Dentists or any kind.
I first came here with a possible need for a root canal-he told me he wasn’t sure until he got in there to know if I needed one so we made the appt. to see if that was the case and as he went in, he found that I DIDN’T need one!!! Now, most Dentists would have given me one and I know some who have even when not needed. He was honest and that is so rare these days. Did I mention I didn’t feel a thing from shot to investigating? Nothing! His staff are awesome, very helpful and easy to book appts.
This second time in here with my son and he had a root canal done by someone who had no business doing it-by a general dentist who swore he could do it no problem…Big problem! Dr. Altenburg took his time and really cared about the outcome of my sons tooth. I’m pleased to say my son said it was as pleasant as one could hope for. Now I’m kind of looking forward to a root canal….not really but it is now not a worry as to where or who would be taking care of it!!

I have had much experience with Endodontic specialists over the many years, both for myself and my family members; accordingly, with that background and understanding, I rate Dr. Altenburg as the best I have had any encounter with!
On both the technical/medical skill level, and also the all so important interpersonal level, he is definitely a Five-Star practitioner! This doctor is highly skilled, and very efficient with his Endo procedures; furthermore, he explains everything very clearly.
His new office is spacious and very welcoming, with the latest in equipment/ technology to ensure the best outcome for any procedure. Moreover, his staff are each so very helpful and friendly!!
I have now found my go-to Endodontic specialist for any of these related services for me and my family in the future!! BTW, my wife’s recent procedure at this office has given her, a now pain-free molar, and with a very fast recovery time!! 🙂

Highly recommend Dr. Altenburg. I had a previous root canal with a “regular” dentist that needed to be done again. My new dentist referred me to Dr. Altenburg, who specializes in doing root canal work. Dr. Altenburg was very good at explaining what needed to be done and answered all my questions. Michelle who does his scheduling also does a great job. Root canal was redone and I don’t have tooth pain any longer!

I had a very difficult root canal, with multiple calcified invisible roots, and the real risk of losing my tooth entirely. Dr. Altenburg carefully evaluated my case and took the time necessary to complete the root canal and save the tooth with finesse and minimal pain. I highly recommend him. His staff is very knowledgeable and they all work to the highest standards.
